have the cap for the light removal. Box state the light can be removed. Need to coverup the exposed wiring and finish the ceiling fan look

There's no... housing??
Can't even use the light because there's no housing. You just attach wires and then go make a wish.
Obviously can't leave the thing dangling like a facehugger over my bed from my fan, so can't even use this crap. Thanks for modernizing the lowest end basic product, which should accommodate basic lower end fans as well.

The light dims and then become sprite and all three of the ceiling fans in a house that we purchased a couple of months ago. We've had an electrician visit and he advised that all of the power source to the ceiling fan is good.
I switched out to 60 W lightbulbs to see if that was gonna solve the problem. The answer is no it did not.
Little old lady from South Haven
I called for info on removing glue (from labels) on top of path yard lights. Glue still on lights after trying removal instructions.
Still put lights in the yard & they look great.
Only had to return one out of nine that failed to light. Will continue to purchase Harbor Breeze products.

Greetings. Sharing this issue regarding the Harbor Breeze/Lowes ceiling fan model # LEA52IR5C, Item # 136803.
This model is now discontinued. The fan blades crack at the motor unit. This is dangerous as it can cause injury to humans, pets and surrounding areas when the fan is in use. Two blades cracked on my unit.
Very disappointed in Lowes and Harbor Breeze for not acknowledging when I first reported this issue. It is with hope no one gets hurt.

I found it difficult and frustrating to obtain information regarding which remote control to buy for my Harbor Breeze Seaholme 42225, Model OM52-5B/1LEU3E ceiling fan. When I called Lowe's customer service, I was advised that part #598**** was the correct part number for the replacement remote control, but it looked nothing like the original which was missing.
I eventually ordered one from Amazon.com, but it did not work with the fan.
I then ordered another from Amazon, which fortunately did work, although its Amazon listing said it was a frequently returned item and many purchasers left reviews saying it did not work with their fans. Unfortunately, this experience has made me very reluctant about buying Harbor Breeze products in the future.

I called to resolve a question I had with the remote for my ceiling fan. Agent was polite and resolved my issue quickly.
My remote was not working properly. The agent guided me through resetting it. The remote works well now.

I purchased a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan about six months ago, and the motor quit working. The average life of a ceiling fan should be about ten years, but let's say five years for a cheap one.
Six months come nowhere close to my least expectation and is unacceptable. I have been spoiled by Amazon & other retailers with flexible returns. So when I attempted to return the fan to Lowes and was told I now had to go directly to Harbor Breeze since 90 days had passed, I was less than happy. The Harbor Breeze ceiling fan is a proprietary Lowe's product, yet I was given a phone number and brushed off.
I discussed with the manager and suggested a 'store credit' would suffice; no go! I asked the manager to look at my purchase history... many large ticket items over the years on my Lowes credit card; still no! After my visit, I replied to their 'customer survey' outlining my point of view.
Did I mention I had to hire someone to install, remove and install the new ceiling fan? From the returned survey, I received four follow-up emails... ALL reminding me of their store policy to contact Harbor Breeze directly. In the time it took for them to tell me 'NO' four additional times, Lowes could have contacted Harbor Breeze on my behalf.
I do not have time to sit on hold to speak to a surly customer satisfaction (that is an oxymoron) agent, so I am trying to locate an email, or a mailing address where I can present my case for a refund in writing.
YES, I am going to take a pen in hand and possibly write in cursive, if anyone remembers that. HA!

Because I just bought your *** fan in the remote doesn't work
I went and bought a Harbor Breeze fan installed it by professional and the remote control doesn't operate fan it's just on high and it's blowing my butt off so in the boxes and a letter saying call this number and will help you program it at you do that no one answers the dang phone what a piece of work you people are you sell something you know he's got to defective problem that's awful that's terrible don't worry I'll spread the word around thank you have a great day

Mac 111 fan humming noise
I had to disassemble installed fan and take back to store for exchange. The new fan still hums but not as bad as previous.
Am I satisfied, no!
But honestly Im settling. Will not buy another like it in the future.
