The on line phone wont even let you select the item number for the product it says to push number for!!!

User's recommendation: Nobody can tell me how to get sequence back for the transmitter and receiver! Everything is a throwaway to get ppl to buy more even if item is working, however this fan was here before I cam and bought home …smh!!!

Poor quality electrical products and useless "customer support" from a noisy call center and reps who speak only broken english.

I purchased two patio string light sets from Lowe's. After installing my hooks to attach them to the patio, I plugged in the two sets and they immediately blew the fuse in their plug. I exchanged them the next day.

The second two sets also blew their fuses.

Naturally, I troubleshooted, checked my outlet, its breaker, and the heavy, outdoor 25' extension cord, and ruled them out as potential causes of the blown fuses.

The phone number in the packaging offered assistance and answers to questions. However, the non-English speaking rep was unable to offer any help as all she was able to do was read the exact same troubleshooting suggestions listed in the instruction sheet.

The rep's 'solution' was for me to make a third drive to the store for a refund and 'try another set.' Note: The instructions state that up to seven sets may be hooked together before blowing a fuse. Further, no fuse puller or extra fuses are included in the set.

Final decision... don't waste time or money on Harbor Breeze electric appliances or lights. Terrible quality and useless 'customer support.

Lights on fan

Harbor Breeze - Lights on fan

I have 4 ceiling fans that the lights don't work. Do you sell replacement lights for this product?

One fan is dim like it tries to light up.

The rest do nothing. Replacment lights would be ideal so we don't have to buy new fans.

I already explained the situation I have a defective fan I need Harbor Breeze to reply to me. The mechanism that turns the fan on is non-existent someone from the factory did not put in it no pull string. I like their products but this one is effective I need it replaced

AngryAngryIm not happy. I have a $300 ceiling fan with a shorted out DC Motor controller.

That unplugs from the fan and has its own part number and I being told I can replace the controller because its built in! If that was true I wouldnt be able to unplug it!!Facepalm

Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan Light Kit Replacement

My family has purchased 2 Harbor Breeze fans at Lowe's. One of them has the light out, and the kit needs to be replaced.

I went to my local Lowe's and had an employee assist us in a search for a light kit. We were told that since they didn't carry them, we would need to contact Harbor Breeze. He mentioned that a previous customer was dealing with the same issue. How is it that Lowe's sells Harbor Breeze fans but doesn't carry the replacement light kit?

I find it extremely frustrating that I have to reach out to anyone online to find the correct light kit and how to purchase it. The room with the fan has been dark for weeks, and who knows how long it will take to find, purchase, and have a light kit delivered?!?

Item #573**** | Model #43386 & Item #146**** | Model #TG44MBK3D1RC. Please advise how I can find a replacement.

The ceiling fan is missing the fan components that you click on to get fan working.It was never installed factory mishap.So idk how it passed inspection & boxed to ship out.

I never spoke to anyone. I don't understand why it's so hard to talk to someone or shop a Harbor Breeze parts site.

I don't like to give bad reviews, so do better to make it easier for consumers to purchase parts if available to buy. I've wasted at least an hour trying to find myself.

Useless,cannot comprehend the difference between a warranty item or a manufacturers defect which my items are clearly manufacturers defects

I purchased 2 fans last year,that I finally got a chance to install at our cabin...A lynstead #0807420 and a mayfield #0807424..these came complete with the light kits..Ive never seen 1 that the fan chain goes through a seperate hole in the globe( light cover)..neither globe for either fan was drilled for the fan chain..the escutions for both have the hole..instructions state to pass the chains through the hole..I tried putting the 2 chains through the center hole,then putting the fan chain through the escution in its proper hole,assemblying everything,then went to pull tge fan chain and broke the center of the globe on the mayfield..I purchased both fans at my Local Lowe's which I seriously doubt they will do anything for me since its been almost a year since I purchased them..what are my options?? I feel since they werent manufactured correctly,I shouldnt have to pay for new ones..any response on the matter is appreciated..

Nothing has been dealt with. I tried calling a number that was provided to me and got no response. For something serious like the fan blade falling off while I'm sleeping and hitting my wall, causing damage to the drywall, this is ridiculous that the company is not dealing with it.

I went to the Harbor Freight web page to get technical assistance. I was set to JustAnswer web page, which requires payment for help.

The web page required a credit card, and there was a recurring monthly fee if I did not somehow stop the service.

Why would Harbor Breeze has such a set up? To rip off its customers?

Poor Connectivity

While their ceiling fans are affordable, well-built, and quiet, my issue is with the remote functions. The remotes and all replacement node/receivers/controllers/remote operate at a frequency that is unsupported by nearly everything that is Google or Alexa compatible.

The 304.25 MHz lockout literally locks devices out of nearly all smart home connectivity alternatives and universal remotes for replacement, forcing one to purchase their manual replacements or just do what I did and return the products and buy compatible alternatives. I'm disappointed in the lack of foresight and integratable connectivity. The standard range for all universal RF smart Wi-Fi remotes is 415 MHz, making all Harbor Breeze products useless in a modern age of smart home connectivity.

I really wanted to love and keep my beautiful ceiling fan, but Harbor Breeze left me no other options. Go somewhere else if you're upgrading your smart home.

Fan remote replacement

I cant get a replacement remote for my Henderson fan. No universal remote will work.

Had an electrician try two different ones. Went into Lowes for help.

The Lowes employee told me to go to harbor breeze. I need a replacement remote.
