Trouble shooting
Nothing. The call disconnected before someone even answered.
Their phone system makes makes you feel like they dont wanna answer the phone. I just had a question about my remote control and I guess I wont get that answer now so goodbye Harbor breeze.
- I love the fans
- No customer service
Preferred solution: Possibly just a new remote control and I’m willing to pay for it. I just want someone to answer my question.
User's recommendation: Don’t bother
Replacement part
I bought a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan, and as I was trying to pull the string for the light for the first time, the globe for the light fell and broke. I'm calling because I want to get a replacement one. The model number is 600****.
Preferred solution: A replacement glass globe

Verified Reviewer |Called the number in the instructions for trouble shooting no answer
I started with the chat, they said they would have someone call me, that I needed a technician, and one would be calling right away since the professional installer is still on site. I received a text saying I had to agree to pay $50.00 for a thirty minute consultation with the professional. Ridiculous!

Verified Reviewer |Terrible product design
So fun when half of the screws that you need to loosen or remove for set up are stripped. Also when the wire connection plug is bent so I need to use a small screw driver just to try and straighten it while connecting it. Average engineer/ designer is not smarter than a 5th grader
- Stripped screws
- Terrible design
- Bent parts
Preferred solution: Nothing just want them outa my life
User's recommendation: Try any other brand

Verified Reviewer |No remote in box
Make sure every part is in the box.
Or have extra remotes on hand for these kinds of problems.
Made in China. All remotes come from China. I don't expect any time soon because of tariffs.
No remote. No light until I purchase a remote or wait for Harbor Breeze to send me one from China.
- Buy made in america
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer |RR placement Remote
Ceiling fan remote stopped working. I ordered a replacement from Lowe's.
It came with no instructions whatsoever. Neither Lowe's nor Harbor Breeze responds.
Preferred solution: Instructions to sync a new remote
User's recommendation: Don’t buy from Harbor Breeze!!!

Verified Reviewer |Worthless
Shop around and consider another option other than Harbor Breeze. Warranty is only 1 year after that they will not help or assist in resolving issues with their products.
Product reliability poor. 1 yr warranty should be a sign that their products will not last.
Customer service is minimal and not helpful. I do not recommend and would suggest looking into other products.

Verified ReviewerCan't switch speeds - Coastal Creek model fan
The pull chain to switch speeds works fine if you pull on it directly parallel to the ceiling. But because the chain has to go through *** in the glass bowl, and that hole is directly beneath where the chain comes out of the switch, it becomes impossible to pull on it.
Essentially you are pulling on the chain perpendicular to where it comes out of the switch.
In other ceiling fans, the switch comes out of the switch housing angled towards the floor, making it easy to pull on it.
The switch has already been lubricated, so that is not the issue. ~~~~~~~ |---\ ~~~~~~ | | | / / / chain / / / \ | / \ | / glass bowl ~~~~~~~ | ~~~~ O

Light Fixture Rotates
Can't say enough bad about this company. Their customer service sucks, their product sucks, and now hopefully we can get them on something.
I assembled this *** Notus that cost me 130 bucks and an entire day of assembly because the directions don't align properly with the fan.
Instead, they give generic fan installation instructions.
Come to find out, the mounting ball and bracket that come with it...
they don't fit together. The gaps in the ball are too wide for the mounting and so we have this rotation that cannot be removed.
User's recommendation: Stay away from this company. Make them work or make them pay until they shut down and fix their quality control

Verified ReviewerCeiling fan has not remote or receiver unit
Fan unit has no remote or receiver unit. I have always had good products from Harbor Breeze.
I have two other Harbor Breeze fans that work perfectly.
And I bought a Harbor Breeze universal remote only to go through all the trouble of installing it to find out it would not work either. So, $219.00 for the fan, then $30.00 more for the remote, and I still have no fan or light.
- Quiet long lasting good products and price
- Double check to make sure
- Have no more
- I do not have anymor
Preferred solution: The remote unit that's is supposed to be in the box .
User's recommendation: We will see what this company does before I say anything else.
Discount
Does not have the part one piece part that I need for my fan .oooookkkkkoooookkkkkoooookkkkkoooooʻkkkk
Failed fan no warranty support
We purchased two harbor breeze fans from Lowe's in 2005, both included a lifetime warranty on the motor, when the fan stopped working we contacted them and they did supply us with a capacitor which helped the fan to run but still only ran at a slow speed even after changing the controller which changes fan speeds the fan still did not work properly finally the motor gave out completely when we contacted harbor breeze to get a warranty replacement for the motor they told us that the motor is no longer produced. They didn't offer us a replacement.
When I said isn't the motor guaranteed for life and so what's the option they said well you need to get a different fan and I said well can you provide the different fan they said maybe do you have your receipt. They didn't even want to offer the solution to provide a new fan to replace their failed motor
..
of course I did not have the receipt from 20 years ago and of course they did not want to honor the warranty doesn't sound like they wanted to honor it in the first place given that they didn't provide it as an option. I would not buy products from this company again.
User's recommendation: If you buy one of their products, hang on to your receipt forever... Even if you register the product they will ask you to tell them the exact date that you registered it They can't look it up by your name phone number etc
Light
These lights suck. Remotes and receivers burn out after 2 years. The customer service wont help you or offer a replacement
User's recommendation: Don’t buy
New fan not working
Electrician installed fan with lights no power to both the light or fan. I need technicnial support for my electrician.
Missing part
I think your company is a sorry company. You dont care about your customers when they complain about parts missing from the packages.
You dont want to fix the problem. You said you dont have the parts to replace the missing part but youre the manufacturer you should have the part I think your company is very very sorry.
User's recommendation: *** no!!!!!!
