Fan is only 16 months old and the remote does not work. However, the fan in the next room is the same and its remote works on it. So, I know that the transmitter is good. I've tried to reprogram the remote but that doesn't work. Remote Control Part # A25TX005R.

I expressed my displeasure of 2 ceiling fans that wobble. The builder installed these fans and i have no paperwork on them. I asked about a balancing kit and the warranty department was no help. I will not purchase Harbor Breeze again!

My saga starts with my dog eating the remote for my harbor breeze saratoga ceiling fan. She ate it up with the fan ON. Bought a replacement from Amazon- doesn't work, called Harbor Breeze, told me to get one from Lowes; did that, doesn't work. Multiple calls and no help- they are just reading from manuals that I can read from. It ended with me talking to a Lowes washer/dryer employee telling me to contact Harbor Breeze.... So, they can't solve a simple problem? I'm sure I am not the first to have this happen.

Details
Got fan for a gift, just opened it to install after 6 months, there is no directions, no remote, and missing all the screws but 12 decorative button screws. Customer sevice said they will not stand behind the product because it was a gift, and that voids the so called warranty. So it is not there fault that all the pieces are in the box, it is the buyers for not trusting the company to make sure the product is as it says. Would not recommend them to anyone.

the motors on my two harbor breeze fans finally quit 5 years ago. so i am doing some repairs around the house and decide to get them'repaired'. my lifetime warranty on my fans will not be honored because the fans are 'too old'? lowes/harbor breeze said sorry you fans are too old. i asked about the lifetime warranty on these expensive fans and was told 'tough'. another screwing by lowes.
